教学设计说明
学生情况分析：
三年级学生基本上逐渐适应了小学的英语学习生活，大多数学生学习兴趣浓厚，学习习惯较好。他们求知欲强，善于模仿，喜欢听故事、唱儿歌、做游戏、肢体表演等活动形式。通过两年的英语学习，已经初步具备了基本的听说能力，能进行材料的朗读与简短的对话交流与，也能进行简单的书面训练。
在学习本单元内容之前，学生已经在1AM3U1接触过数字1－6，在2AM1U3中，接触过数字7－10。此外，能用My name’s… I’m…（外型、年龄等）I can… I like …等进行自我介绍与信息分享。
模块教学任务分析：
3AM1的模块主题是Getting to know you （慢慢认识你）， 分别围绕How are you, What’s your name?以及How old are you?这三个与孩子学习、生活息息相关的话题而展开，涉及身体状况、名字与年龄等个人基本信息，尝试在不同的时间、用不同的问候语问候对方。
本模块是2AM1的延伸，从简单的问候他人到用较丰富的形式问候他人，了解不同人的不同称呼，了解自身与他人的基本信息特点，形成较为完整的个人基本信息。此外，通过本模块的学习，能逐步养成礼貌待人、尊敬老师、友爱同学的好品质。
单元教学任务分析：
3AM1U3的单元主题是How old are you?（你几岁了？）。通过本单元学习，能学习、操练与运用one, two, three. four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten等数字，能结合How old are you? I’m…句型正确询问及表述年龄，从而感受数字的常见，感受数字的奇妙。同时，在整合已学句型向他人陈述自己的年龄等相关信息，较为完整地进行自我描述与分享的同时，学习生日聚会时的一些简单用语和基本礼仪，学做一个懂礼貌的孩子。此外，学习字母e的开音节发音，尝试举一反三。
教学设计意图说明：
第一课时，借助数字中比较难读的三个数字，将他们变成Miss Five，Mr Seven和Mr Nine三位数字老师，创设给数字学生上课的情境，学习、操练与运用数字1-10，体会数字在不同场合的奇妙用处。同时，能运用核心句型I’m…去表述自己的年龄，并结合已学句型作自我介绍，对自身有个初步的整体介绍。
第二课时，借助学生在第一课时制作的数字puppet，在复习本单元核心词汇的基础上，学习、理解与运用”How old are you? I’m…”来互相询问和表达年龄，并能结合已学句型询问和表达自己的其它信息，如：名字、状况等，较为完整地进行自我整体介绍，进一步感受数字。
第三课时，借助生日聚会的情境，进一步操练单元核心词汇和句型，在情境中进一步运用核心内容，同时学习一些生日聚会时的简单用语和礼仪，学做有礼貌的孩子。 第四课时，单元复习。
