construction machine; a hinge section 14 which connects the guard body 13 to the roof 7;a gripping section 17 which extends so as to be capable of being gripped on a sideopposite to the hinge section 14 in the guard body 13; and a rotational shaft section 18which makes the gripping section 17 rotatable downward. When the gripping section 17rotates downward via the rotational shaft section 18 and the lower end thereof comes incontact with the roof 7, a gap with a predetermined height dimension is formed betweenthe skylight window 9 and the guard body 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
