摘要：The invention relates to a method for supporting a driver of a vehicle (01)during the process of leaving a lateral parking space (02) in a longitudinal direction to aroad, comprising the following steps: - starting the method if a parking space (02) is to beleft in a longitudinal direction to a road; - measuring at least the length (D) of the parkingspace (02); - determining a trajectory (03) for leaving at least based on the data obtainedfrom the measurement; - starting the process of leaving the parking space; - carrying outthe process of leaving the parking space with simultaneous collision prevention bymonitoring the distance to objects (05, 07, 08) delimiting at least the parking space (02) –ending the method as soon as collision-free leaving of the parking space (02) is possible.The invention further relates to a driver assistance device for carrying out the method,and to a computer program product prompting a microprocessor having associatedmemory means to carry out the method.
