汉语的“一”和英语的“一”不是一一对应的。汉语表达更细，更复杂，英语相比起来要简单的多。
比如：a book 一本书 a desk 一张桌子
a car 一辆车 a mountain 一座山
an expert a specialist 一名专家
英语的辅音相当于汉语的声母，英语的元音相当于汉语的韵母
棉袄 一件棉袄
袄子 一件袄子
恶徒 一个恶徒
阿姨 一个阿姨
汉语无论一个词语的读音是声母开头还是韵母开头，量词一永远是一，没有变化，而英语则不然。
（一）a, an的用法
1.a：用于辅音音素（不是辅音字母）开头的词前，表示单数的数量“一”。
a book a desk
2.an：用于元音音素（不是元音字母）开头的词前，表示单数的数量“一”。
an apple a big apple an old man
3.元音字母：以元音字母 a, e, i, o ，u开头的单词基本都是以元音因素开头, 外。
4.辅音字母：26个字母中，除了5个元音字母，其他是辅音字母
