Actual issue is a locked or strange local license. 1.1.2 Issue Main issue presented to the user along the lines of when starting app they get error: \"The remote session was disconnected because there are no Terminal Server License Servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator.\" The main point is there is a key stuck in the registry that normally gives this spurious error. The user would get this on windows xp/7/2003 machine while connecting to Citrix or Terminal Server. 1.1.3 Fix **If you are not happy working with windows registry please forward the task to someone who is!** a) This is a PER MACHINE fix, either on Citrix/Terminal server or more normally Laptop Desktop based. b) Connect to the host with the known issue, either logon as a user with rights over Registry (DM) or ‘Run As’ in the client session as hightend user account c) Navigate to below key (hklm\\software\\microsoft\\mslicensing\\store): d) Delete any LICxxxx objects under the Store Key e) No Logoff or Restart Required. Just restart the Program Neighborhood and ask user to try to reconnect. This should be fixed.
