I feel terribly sorry to tell you that our trip to Beijing next weekend will be rearranged due to my personal reason. I was informed just now that I entered the final of the CCTV English Speech Competition. And the final is to be held next week. The winner of this competition will get an opportunity to study in Harvard University. Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it?
For years, I have been dreaming about studying abroad as an exchange student to learn/experience different cultures. Now the chanceis coming. I think that if you were me, you would grasp it as I do.
Is it possible for us to make another time to visit Beijing? I sincerely hope you can accept my apologies and understand me. Once again, I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused.
