Bank Guarantee is a letter of guarantee issued by the Bank based on its own credit upon the request of its client (Principal) or instruction of any other person (Instructing Party), which constitutes a guarantee to secure the performace of obligation or liability under certain fundamental contract by the Principal to the third party (obligee or beneficiary) and to indemnify such third party in case the Principal fails to perform the contractual obligations.
