一、教学目标:Aim1: Learn the story.
Aim2: Learn the implied meaning of the fable.

四、教学流程:
Step1: Show the pictures of “The Tortoise and the Hare”.
Ask: 1, Do you know the story? Who can tell it to us?
2, Can you tell me the implied meaning of the story?
(Pride will have a fall. 骄者必败。)
Step2: 1, Today we are going to learn a new story about the tortoise and the hare.(Show the pictures to the class)
Now look at the pictures carefully.
Discuss in groups. Discuss and put them in a good order.
2, Ask each group to write their answers on the blackboard. Then discuss together and check them.(5,13,2,3,4,7,9,10,11,8,12,14,6,1.)
Step3: 1, We have put them in good order, now each group describe three pictures and write a sentence for each picture.
2, Ask each group to read their sentences, then correct together.
3,Discuss the last two pictures and describe them together.
4, Show these sentences on the screen, make up the whole story.
Step4: Look at the sentences and listen to the recorder carefully.
Step5: We have learnt the meaning of the story, now discuss its implied meaning. What can you learn from the story? (You can have different opinions.)
(1, Believe yourself。 2, Don’t believe others easily. 3,We should be honest and keep secrets...)
Step5: Homework: 1, Retell the story.
2, Adapt the story into a short play and then put it on in groups in front of the class.
